The pinafore shown in Classic Sewing Holiday 2018 issue uses designs stitched with twin needles. Scallops and Christmas trees use the shadow effect created by stitching wtih twin needles to add color. Accents of red on the tree, the base and the star are stitched with a single needle.
Embroidery designs for the trees in three sizes and several scallop options are included in the down loads. Patterns and designs for the 18-inch doll dress and pinafore, as well as additional Christmas tree designs, are avaiable.
Instructions are included on matching points of scallops to make a continuous design with the twin needle designs.
